The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) has rejected provisional shortlisting of Cairn Energy India, as the winning bidder for the Mumbai basin deepwater block under the seventh round of New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-VII), due to the unattractive profit-sharing offer.
